“I want to provide our creative community with an encouraging space to learn that art is a journey and a process rather than an end result. I teach students how to tap into their creative minds, how to put on to paper the beauty that they see around them. Through my classes, people explore and express their visions through a multitude of mediums. I believe that the making of art is a guided process in which the student plays a very major role. My classroom culture is supportive, non-judgmental and in the moment. My teaching styles tend to foster community within our classes and a high percentage of our students are long-term”

I founded The ArtWay in 2010 and have taught over 500 students. I have been teaching art for over 30 years.
