Here are the answers to some of your questions!
LIVE Studio Classes
Q: When can I begin the class?
A: You can begin whenever you like! Our classes are ongoing and we have rolling registration.
Q: How many weeks do the classes run for?
A: The classes are 3 hours each and run for 8 consecutive weeks.
Q: Are supplies included?
A. Feel free to bring your own acrylic supplies. We recommend artist quality GOLDEN Acrylic Colors. If you don’t have supplies, we charge a $75 supply fee for the use of our paints and mediums. Any substrate (wood panels, canvas, paper etc.) are an additional charge. We have an abundant supply of mediums, materials and tools in our studio for all to use and enjoy for FREE!
Q: Can I purchase supplies at the studio?
A: Yes! We sell most of the supplies that we teach with. Prices are comparable to other stores. We appreciate your support!
Q: What if I miss a class? Can I make it up at a later date?
A: Sorry, classes must be taken consecutively within the eight weeks.
Q: Can I get a refund after I pay for the classes?
A: Sorry, no refunds are given two weeks prior to the class start date. If you have taken one or a few classes and choose to discontinue, the remaining classes will not be refunded. A credit towards classes for the next session may be considered with a doctor’s note.
If you have not taken a class yet and cancel two weeks prior to the class start date, we will refund the session minus a 15% administration fee.
Sorry, we structure our classes and create our lessons based on the students attending. If a student does not come to the lesson planned, the work must be accounted for.
We also run classes based on a minimum number of seats that need to be filled. If a student suddenly drops out, we also need to account for this.

Q: Do I need experience to take the class?
A: Experience is not a requirement! 80% of our students our absolute beginners. An open mind and a passion for creativity is all you need!
Q: Can I sign up for more than 1 session?
A: Yes! 75% of our students sign up again and again. Some students have been with us from the beginning, over ten years! This makes for a wonderful support group of creative peers!

Q: Can I buy everything I need for the Video Lessons from your website?P
A: Yes! We have added the materials lists to each of the video lessons. You just need to click on the materials you need. It’s so quick and easy!
Q: Are the supplies you sell good quality?
A: Yes! We are proud to have GOLDEN Artists Colors on our website for you to buy. We have also become associates with Amazon just so you can purchase what you need quickly and easily! The brands we have chosen are reputable.
Q: What happens if I purchase something and it is defective?
A: If it is an item that was purchased via Amazon, you can talk with the Amazon customer care team. If it is a GOLDEN Artist Color product, please contact us at info@theartway.ca
