Overview

This Lesson is focused on a high horizon line on a vertical wood panel. You will create a tonal background with graphite and cover it with papers. Texture and light will emerge as line is added for drama. Gel Medium will be applied to the entire surface to create a soft and luminous effect similar to encaustic. The piece will be finished with collage and splashes of beautiful color to create a truly moving landscape.
